ACUTE CARE, INC. was founded in 1989. It is owned and managed by a board certified emergency physician, Mark C. Menadue, DO, JD, FACEP, FCLM. With the corporate offices in suburban Des Moines, Iowa, ACUTE CARE, INC. currently provides services to more than 60 hospitals throughout the United States.

With our history of stellar growth within our region, we are fully capable of achieving successful partnerships within new states and territories. Our specific niche in rural, non-urban Emergency Departments enables our organization to seek out facilities that specifically match our marketing scheme. In recruiting physicians to any of our affiliated hospitals, we have a unique advantage over the competition in marketing the specific practice size. Our group practice has a reputation throughout the Midwest as an equitable provider of Emergency Department physician staffing to low to moderate volume hospitals.
