EMTALA - Continuing Education Online
Welcome to ACUTE CARE, INC.'s online Continuing Medical Education (CME) series on EMTALA: Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act.
Understanding and abiding by the Act is essential for proper and legal conduct in emergency medicine. Stephen A. Frew remarks: " My approach to EMTALA compliance is conservative and "risk adverse".
