Dr David MoothClay County Hospital
Flora, IL David Mooth MD has been a resident of Southern Illinois for over fifteen years. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Medicine at Rockford Illinois and a recipient of of the United States Air Force Health Profession Scholarship Program. He completed residency at Grant Hospital Family Practice Residency Program in Columbus Ohio. While in the Air Force, Dr. Mooth received training as a flight surgeon through the United States Army at Ft. Rucker in Alabama. He is currently the medical director of the Emergency Room at Clay County Hospital. Dr. Mooth is also the father of a large family and an aspiring goat rancher. He enjoys gardening and playing bluegrass music with his children. Dr. Mooth enjoys the flexibility and challenge of working in the acute care setting as well as the freedom from the headaches of an office practice.
