ACUTE CARE, INC. (ACI) is committed to the exploration and utilization of the cutting edge of education and technology in medicine.

We are the first private institution to become approved as an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education in the state of Iowa. ACI is dependent on input from the medical community to determine appropriate subject matter for educational programming. We seek out input from our quality improvement program, contact with professional organizations, medical staff meetings and conversations with practicing physicians. We've been pioneers in the realm of online CME. Our first web-based presentation, EMTALA - An Overview, has been viewed by hundereds of healthcare professionals. It was recently joined by a series of programs on Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) and will soon be joined by additional programs, including one on Mandatory Reporter Training.
