Karen Weltha, RN, has served as Performance Improvement Coordinator for ACUTE CARE, INC.. since November 2006. She is responsible for Quality/Risk Management activities, including education, training and counseling of contracted physicians, with an emphasis on medical record documentation. In addition, she assists the Chief Medical Officer in resolving issues related to the quality of care, and in performing focused reviews and audits. She also serves as a clinical liaison between client facilities, contracted physicians and ACI.
