ACI will be intimately involved with documentation, coding and reimbursement issues to compliantly enhance reimbursement related to CPT Codes and Ambulatory Patient Classifications (APCs).

We are also proud to offer the services of our Performance Improvement Director, and experienced clinician who will review your current documentation and coding process, and serve as a partner and resource in formation of an optimal reimbursement and risk management system. These services are of substantial practical and financial value and are provided as a distinctive feature of the contractual relationship. We are dedicated to addressing quality care issues specific to your healthcare environment through use of a customized CQI and Risk Management Assessment program.

ACUTEdoc is a template based documentation system used for the physician and nurse to record the Emergency Department patient encounter. The system encourages:
Continuous quality improvement and patient care;
Compliant physician documentation;
Proper coding;
Enhanced reimbursement.

ACUTEdoc is a more logically designed, consistently structured documentation template. It offers more extensive mecical decision-making sections, including areas for differential diagnosis and consultations. The physician templates have been designed to flow the way the emergency physician practices. All of the templates are two-page documents, except for the Multiple Trauma, MVA and Alcohol Intoxication templates, which are extended to three pages.

This product will allow your Emergency Department documentation to:
Integrate directly with the hospital billing system;
Greatly reduce hospital expenses associated with medical records, transcription and coding of proffesional fees for Emergency Department physicians.

The physician and nurse charting tools are connected with ExitCare, a computer-based set of discharge instructions. This complete system of integrated elements dramatically enhances quality of care, customer (patient) satisfaction and the peer review process.
